PD Dr. Alison E. Martin
Dr. Alison E. Martin worked as an Assistant Professor of English Literature at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg from October 2007 to September 2012. She defended her Habilitation in English and Comparative Literature in 2013.
She completed her B.A. and PhD at the University of Cambridge and holds an M.A. from University College London.
She has lectured in English, German and Dutch at the universities of Cambridge and London, the Universiteit Hasselt (B) and the Universität Kassel.
She currently teaches at the University of Reading (GB), where she is working on the history of publishing in nineteenth-century Britain.
She is a member of the British Society of Eighteenth-Century Studies, the British Comparative Literature Association and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Allgemeine und Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft.
